This queen-sized platform bed is made from select pine and adorned with spoon-chip carving by Michel Richard. It is designed to hold one, queen-sized mattress with no box spring (mattress not included). The headboard stands 55" high and the footboard 24" and the four drawers are 24"W x 28"L x 8" D. A recessed toe-kick raises the bed from the ground. Extensive hand-carving decorates the bed in an interesting blend of American Southwest and Eastern European style and it is finished with a non-toxic, penetrating oil. $3,500 + shipping.
