Warm soapy water is best to clean the cabinets when necessary.

The finish on the cabinets is a Danish Oil Finish which combines tung oil and urethane resins. The tung oil penetrates the wood to seal it and the resins build up to produce a durable finish. Several brands are on the market, including Deft and Watco. Finish can be wiped on dulling or damaged areas with a cloth as explained in the instructions.

The drawers run on wooden guides that are sealed and waxed. To ensure smooth gliding, clear paste wax may need to be applied occasionally. Apply wax to guides and drawer grooves with a rag.

If the doors should rub together or become otherwise misaligned due to weather change, adjustment screws within the hinge and plate are easily accessible to move the door as necessary.
